PINAGTIBAY ngayong araw na ito ng Department of Social Welfare ang Development ang “partnership” sa Department of National Defense.
Layunin nito na mapalakas ang implementasyon ng social services at development projects sa buong bansa partikular sa mga mahihirap at magugulong lugar.
Pangungunahan ito ng National Development Support Command na “Infrastructure at Development Division” ng Hukbong Sandatahan.
Kabilang sa Memorandum of Agreement na pirmado nila DSWD Secretary Dinky Soliman at DND Secretary Voltaire Gazmin ang pagpapatayo ng pabahay, farm-to-market roads at health centers at iba pang serbisyo tulad ng transportasyon at seguridad.
